Pelagos, Inc. ("Pelagos," "we," "us") is incorporated in the State of Delaware. This policy describes how this website, the Pelagos company site, handles information. It is written to be read, not skimmed past: we collect very little, and we explain all of it below.

The Fisheries Intelligence Platform application is a separate product with its ownTerms of Service andPrivacy Policy, published within the platform at fisheriesintel.com.

What we collect

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical logs when you visit, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use these only to operate and secure the site.
• Email you send us. If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it to respond and to keep a record of our correspondence.

What we do not collect

This site runs no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no tracking cookies. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell or rent any information to anyone.

How we share information

We share information only with the service providers that host and deliver this site, and only as needed to run it, or if the law requires it. That is the entire list.

Retention

Correspondence is kept as long as it is useful for the relationship it belongs to. Hosting logs are retained on our provider's standard schedule.

Your choices

You can ask us what correspondence we hold from you, ask us to delete it, or ask a question about this policy at any time through our contact page.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
